Some believe that donors should receive a more generous tax deduction for gifts to organizations that serve the poor (homeless shelters, food pantries), than they receive for gifts to institutions that primarily serve the affluent (symphony, museums). Do you agree or disagree? Explain why?

    Explanation:

    I agree to the statement because there is need or requirement of huge service and support from non - governmental organizations to the needy and the poor. Because there are huge number of needy and poor demand huge amount of fund in order to cater the need of support and fulfill the cost.

    By increasing the tax deduction, will also increase the funds to the organization, which will motivate people to donate the funds to the organization.

    Therefore, the donors should receive a more tax deduction for gifts to organization and it will serve the poor.
