Grapevine is basically a word for saying "word-of-mouth" communication. It is best defined as a rumor or gossip in a business. Usually spreading gossip or rumors (Grapevine) that could be bad for the business. When people spread the wrong things to other people and the people in the business hears it it could cause a lot of controversy.
