Communism and socialism are both economic and political structures that aims to promote equality, however the difference between these two is that, in a communist society, the workers own everything and everyone works for the same objective, all are equal - - there are no rich nor poor people, and community only produces based on what is needed - - workers can work more but they will only get the same amount of wage. While with socialism, the government owns and operates the production and workers can earn wages and spend as much as they want, - - and receive what they need to produce and survive.
