The person-organization fit concept is a good way to predict whether an employee will fit into an organization. It looks at individual and organizational values to determine if a person is compatible to an organization. For example, if a person is passionate about protecting the environment, a company such Patagonia would be a good fit.

In addition to values, another measure of how well an employee will fit into an organization is how compatible his or her personality is with the corporate culture. For example, an extroverted person would fit well into a culture which encourages team work.
