    On the one hand, a ''Customer Relationship Management'' is a system used in the business world in order to make possible the fact of develop and grow the relationship with the customers by gathering all the available information about them and offer them better products or services.

    On the other hand, a ''Supply Chain Management'' is also a system used by the companies with the purpose of managing the relationships with the suppliers in order to obtain the the supplies given by them in correct time and place and to always have great connections so therefore a proper product or service is deliver to the final consumer at the end of the chain.

    In conclusion, both systems are focused in developing a proper relationship with two of the most importants economic agents that affect the organization with the final purpose of providing the best product or service as possible to the final client. However, the main difference is that the CRM is focused in the customers and the SCM is focused in the suppliers of the company. Moreover, the first one is used in the areas of marketing and sales, while the second one is more used in the functions areas of the purchasing department.
