Answer: c) waited to send the text right after she arrived at the office the next day

    Explanation:

It is important to remember that with technology fast advancing and making communication easier, lines between work and personal lives can easily become blurred.

Ellen texted her Co-worker at 11pm at night which is most probably after work hours and quite late at night. This could very well mean that she is intruding on the life of her Co-worker during their personal time.

She should have sent the message when she was at work because the next day as those are conservative as well as work hours when it would not have been improper to do so.

    c) waited to send the text right after she arrived at the office the next day

    Explanation:

In business writing and communication, it is improper to send business messages at odd hours no matter how crucial.

Although Ellen realized that she forgot to confirm a meeting she is supposed to attend the following day, it would have been more proper to have waited to send the text confirming the meeting with her colleague right after she arrived at the office the next day.
