    They may buy out of habit, which is the basis of routine problem solving. Routine problem solving is defined as associating one type of operation for problem solving with what seems to be correct in nature to that person. Though it has been shown that people without seeing the brand they are familiar with are able to distinguish between products, once they see the brand they are use to they stick with it. People like to stick with what they know and are comfortable with even if the quality of something else is the same.
