The population in the given statistical problem is all the men in the country and the sample selected for the given study is 1003 men. Out of these men, 48% of the men were in favor of this change and 52% of the men were against the use of federal tax dollars for funding medical research study. Hence, the response given by the men were taken as a base for this study.
