Low income women felt marriage was likely to make things worse, whether had children or not.

    Explanation:

The ability of human beings to spend to fulfill their needs refers to the affording ability of the humans. The ability to afford for things depends upon the income levels of individuals. Higher the income levels higher will be the needs because the degree of affordability will be higher.

When the income level is lower then the needs will not be higher since they cannot afford for everything they wish. The needs of individuals before and after marriage changes a lot. When men alone is working with lower income levels, women felts that the things will become more worse even if they had children or not.
