    D. Avoidance learning

    Explanation:

When Jeff goes around cracking jokes and goofing off, it causes Rob to nag him constantly about the propiety of his behaviour and the need to adjust accordingly. However, on days when Jeff behaves in a manner Robb deems ideal and proper, he leaves him be in the hopes that the absence of his usual nagging will make Jeff want to carry on with this disposition in the near future. That is classic avoidance learning. However, this approach assumes that Jeff considers Robb's nagging to be a bother.

Positive reinforcement on the other hand would require no such assumption.

    D.

    Explanation:

In this scenario when Rob stops nagging Jeff he is implementing the behavior modification known as avoidance learning. This technique theorizes that and individual tends to remove themselves from a scenario in order to avoid certain bad or stress inducing situation. Which Rob does in order to avoid having to deal with Jeff being cracking jokes and goofing off later.
