    b. False

    Explanation:

The force field analysis model was first stated by Kurt Lewis. The analysis serves as a means of gaining an overview of various forces that act on an issue of organizational change and to assess the their nature and strength.

Driving forces are those factors which drive forward the organizational change to be implemented i. e the forces that support organizational change. Such forces could be internal or external to an organization.

Similarly, restraining forces refer to those factors which resist or oppose organizational changes. These could arrive in the form of employee absenteeism, non compliance, etc.

Stability under the model occurs when the driving forces and restraining forces balance one another or are in equilibrium.
