What might result from the use of an open-end wrench with too large an opening for a particular job?

    An open-ended wrench with too large an opening for a nut, say slightly too large will tend to round off the corners of the nut it is trying to loosen and make it much more difficult to remove the nut with the proper opening so is not advisable to try to loosen the nut with such a wrench.
