The main difference between hourly and salaried jobs is the way of paying. Hourly job is paid on hourly work, while the salaried job is paid monthly.

Hourly workers are paid for every hour of work, even if they do overtime, they will be paid. Saried workers have a salary and usually are not having overtime hours.

    Explanation:

The bad thing about hourly work is that the employees are not guaranteed with the sure amount of hours during the week, only if they have a contract. The hours of work can be different from week to week.

The good thing about the salaried job is that superiors are not always paying attention to the hours of work of an employee, so employees may work less than 8 hours per day.

However, there are positive sides to the hourly paid job. People working per hour can organize their time and decide when they will work. Sometimes they are earning much more than employees on a salary base.

But, salaried jobs bring more security, and that is what people are more fond of.
