    Calculations are below

    Explanation:

    mean = 21

    s. d = sqrt (4) = 2

    a.) P (X<17) = P (Z< (17-21) / 2) = P (Z<-2) = 1 - 0.9772 = 0.0228

    b.) P (X<20) = P (Z< (20-21) / 2) = P (Z<-0.5) = 1 - 0.6915 = 0.3085

    c.) P (X<23) = P (Z< (23-21) / 2) = P (Z<1) = 0.8413

    d.) P (X<25) = P (Z< (25-21) / 2) = P (Z<2) = 0.9772

    e.) P (X
    z = 1.645

    (x - 21) / 2 = 1.645

    So x = 24.29

    SO 24.3 months
