Billy, a witness to a motor vehicle accident, is gravely ill with cancer. pat, who was injured in the accident, would like to preserve his testimony for trial in case he dies before the trial date. what should pat do?

    Pat should have Billy record his testimony to a lawyer in a courtroom or an approved place to make sure Pat has his testimony in writing. If Billy were to pass away prior to getting the testimony, it would hurt his case because he won't have a witness statement he can use for the accident which he was injured in.
