If the number employed is 190 million, the working-age population is 230 million, and the number unemployed is 10 million, then the unemployment rate is

    Well firstly the people working would account to 190 mill and the people working would account to 230 mill you then need to times it by 100. you would get 10,10 and 190 which will equate to 5%. So the unemployment rate for the whole population would be at 5% which can be deemed relatively low!
