he will not have enough money to buy the pens

    Explanation:

    Data provided in the question:

    Total money = $15.00

Money paid for notebook = $2.75

Price paid for binder = $3.49

Price paid for pack of pencil = $3.55

Price for pack of pencil = $5.75

    Now,

    Total amount spent

= Money paid for notebook + Price paid for binder + Price paid for pack of pencil

    = $2.75 + $3.49 + $3.55

    = $9.79

    Thus,

Amount of money left = Total money - Amount spent

    = $15.00 - $9.79

    = $5.21

    Since,

Amount of money left is less than the price of the pack of pens

    Therefore,

he will not have enough money to buy the pens
