They would have completed a total of 64 installations.

    Explanation:

Time required for the technician to complete an installation = 1.5 hours

    Working for 60 hours, she would complete 40 installations (60/1.5 = 40)

Time required for the less experienced colleague to complete an installation = 2.5 hours

    Working for 60 hours, she would complete 24 installations (60/2.5 = 24)

    Total installations completed = 40 + 24 = 64

    64 installations

    Explanation:

Experience technician completes an installation in 1.5 hours.

Less-experience technician completes an installation in 2.5 hours

If both work for 60 hours,

    Experience technician completes 60 / 1.5 = 40 installations

    Experience technician completes 60 / 2.5 = 24 installations

    In total they both complete,

    = 40 + 24 = 64 installations
