What is the current yield for a $1,000 corporate bond that pays 7.5 percent and has a current market value of $950?

    The yield for a $1000 corporate bond that has a present market value of $950 at 7.5 % would be $950 x 0.075 = $71.25 or its' total value would become $1021.25 as it would have to be based on the present market value.
