John smith and susan jones own a business together. it was agreed that susan would work 45 hours per week and spend 15 hours working with customers and the remaining time supervising the employees. what fraction of susan's time is spent working with customers?

    To determine the fraction of susan's time that is spent working with customers, we simply divide the time she spent with customers with the total number of hours she has per week. We do as follows:

    fraction with customers = 15 hours / 45 hours

    fraction with customers = 1/3 or 0.3333
