Why would you use the above sampling methods to collect data on the diversity of an area? (hint: how would the information collected using transect or quadrat sampling differ from the information collected if you had just divided the habitat into quarters and sampled one of the quarters?) ?

I feel that dividing based off actual zoning laws and regulations would provide the best source of data. I feel as such because if you simply devise your own areas, that may make your data incorrect depending on what area a person actually associates with. If you're creating your own area, information could get misconstrued leading to inaccurate conclusions.
