A bank will provide home equity loans up to 80% of the value of the house. What is the maximum amount the homeowner could borrow on a home equity loan?

    Maximum 80% of the House value.

    Explanation:

    You can have maximum 80% of your Home value as home equity loan. For example If your house is values at $300,000 then you can only have maximum amount of $240,000 as your home equity Loan. If you already had $100,000 of home loan then now you can have additional $140,000 home loan.
