In this mini case report, I will explain some of the ethics regarding education and misinformation regarding career paths. In the case of high school graduates who move onto post secondary education, most students who attend university usually go to university because of there parents and teachers and any other authority figure any young person encounters. When students attend university or college, they are not even sure what program is right for them and weather they are going to go into that field at all. If or when a student graduates, they rack up an insane amount of debt which of course they are obligated to pay back to the taxpayers as they should. As worth while as some of the courses that are available to student (i. e Stem courses such as Engineering, Computer Science, courses related to the medical field, and accounting) there are courses such as Liberal arts, sociology, or even gender studies that are completely and utterly useless. Non-Stem courses like Liberal Arts and sociology bring only a huge amount of student debt loans to the individual and no works skills they could use for a high paying career. Some of there Non Stem also go as far as possibly brainwashing students or individuals to think and act a certain way. Sociology, Liberal Arts, and gender studies professors are worst sort of scam that a professional institution can ever endorse within their walls. Most students will either realize just how useless there degree is when looking for work. Realizing that they might as well worked then go to school. In order to solve this problem, post secondary institutions should ban there programs so that students are getting the most out of college or university. However, Schools have made a lot money from these programs. All that taxpayer money is going into degrees that do not empower any of these students. Future students must be aware of what field they need to go to and make the right decisions that best suits the individual.
