Some prisons are now being run on a "for-profit" basis. Do you think that this is a good or bad idea? Why

This may be a good idea because governments spend a lot of money to keep prisons running efficiently so if provisions start making their own money this may allow prisons to finance and budget themselves so the government may spend money on funding others things that are needed in the country.
