Suppose that 65 percent of a discount chain's employees are women and 33 percent of the discount chain's employees having a management position are women. if 25 percent of the discount chain's employees have a management position, what percentage of the discount chain's female employees have a management position? (round your answer to 2 decimal places.)

    Given:

    women on a discount chain's employees is 65%

    women having management position is 33%

    employees who have management position is 25%

    Let X = female employees who have management position

    Let us assume that there are only 100 employees in the discount chain. Sixty-five are women and 35 are men. Out of the 100 employees, 25% or 25 employees have management position, 33% of which are women. 33% of 25 is 8.

    8/65 = 12% or 0.12 percentage of women with management position
