If a solution of Co (NO3) 2 has a concentration of 0.10 M, how many moles are contained in 500.0 mL of this solution?

    Volume in liters:

    500.0 mL / 1000 = > 0.5 L

    Molarity = 0.10 M

    Number of moles:

    n = M x V

    n = 0.10 x 0.5

    n = 0.05 moles
