This question depends on whether its an animal cell or a plant cell

For animal cell, the water molecules will move from the cell sap out to the solution by net movement of osmosis through a partially permeable membrane. it eventually becomes crenated.

For plant cell, water molecules will move from cell sap to the solution and eventually turns flaccid or plasmolysed
