He wanted to measure the temperature in his freezer so he left the thermometer in the freezer overnoght. the next morning he found that the glass bulb og his thermometer has broken. why?

    Glass doesnt typically just break in the freezer the only time it breaks is when liquid is stored in it like the thermometer and when liquids are frozen, they tend to expand; this expansion can place stress on the glass and may cause it to break.
