    The mouse population will decrease

Explanation: In this community, barn owls and snakes only consume mice. If the number of snakes increases, it means the consumption of mice will increase and thus decrease the number of mice in the community. We won't expect the number of barn owls to increase due to an increased competition by the increased number of snakes in the community. Therefore, in this case we would expect the mouse population top decrease while the number of barn owls population will also decrease due to increased competition by the increased snake's population.
