What is the percent mass/volume (%m/v) of a solution that is made from putting 25.0 g of nacl in water to make 275 ml of solution?

    The percent mass/volume (% m/v) of the solution is calculated as follows

    % (M/V) = mass/volume x100

    =mass = 25 grams

    volume = 275 ml

    % (M/v) is therefore = 25/275 x100 = 9.09 % (M/V) of solution
