A chemist measures the amount of nitrogen gas produced during an experiment. He finds that 147g of nitrogen gas is produced. Calculate the number of moles of nitrogen gas produced.

    Explanation:

    Number of moles = mass / molar mass

    molar mass of Nitrogen = 14g/mol

    mass produced = 147g

    moles = 147/14 = 10.5moles of Nitrogen gas produced
