Why does it require creativity to devise a new atomic model?

The atom cannot be seen directly, so scientist must use creativity to interpret information about its structure.

It is impossible to test a theory about the atom.

Scientists prefer whichever atomic model is the most creative.

Scientists create data to avoid performing experiments.

    The atom is very small that it cannot be seen. However, experiments may be devised to either prove existing theories on the atom or find out some new properties. From the data given, scientists are then able to construct atomic models which are consistent with experimental results.
