Which statement about the electron-cloud model is true? It is the currently accepted atomic model. It can easily be replaced by existing models. It specifies the location and momentum of an electron. It does not explain the formation of emission lines.

    Correct answer: It is the currently accepted atomic model.

    Explanation: There were many models before this which were taken into account to study the nature of electron. The electron-cloud model was proposed by Erwin Schrodinger.

    His model does not tell us about the specific position of the electron but tell us about the most probable position of electron in an atom.

    This model uses atom's emission spectra to tell the probability of where the electron might be present.
