The electronic configuration of sulfur is expressed as:

    1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^4

    At the 3p sublevel,

    principal quantum no - 3

    angulum quantum no - 1

    magnetic quantum no - (-1), 0, (-1)

    spin quantum no - (+1/2), (-1/2)

The set of quantum numbers would be:

    [ 3, 1, - 1, + 1/2 ] or [ 3, 1, - 1, - 1/2 ]

    [ 3, 1, 0, + 1/2 ] or [ 3, 1, 0, - 1/2 ]

    [ 3, 1, 1, + 1/2 ] or [ 3, 1, 1, - 1/2 ]
