A baseball is traveling (+30m/s) and is hit by a bat, it leaves the bat traveling (-40m/s). What is the change in the velocity? Remember that direction is what makes velocity different than speed. (A. 10m/s) (B. 30m/s) (C. 40m/s) (D. 70m/s)

    A. 10m/s because 30m/s - 40m/s is equal 10 m/s
