    NiCO4

    We see from the formula that there are 4 moles of Oxygen (O) per 1 mole of Nickel (Ni). Therefore the moles of Oxygen in the sample is:

    moles O = 9.55 moles Ni * (4 moles O / 1 mole Ni)

    moles O = 38.2 moles O
