Explain how graphs can be used to describe, predict, compare or infer information

Graphs show the change in one variable with respect to another variable, show how that relationship changes over time, for example in the graph y = mx+b. The m = slope shows the change in y with respect to x. A graphs allow you to interpret/predict how the relationship will change.
