Measurements show that the energy of a mixture of gaseous reactants increases by during a certain chemical reaction, which is carried out at a constant pressure. Furthermore, by carefully monitoring the volume change it is determined that of work is done on the mixture during the reaction. Calculate the change in energy of the gas mixture during the reaction. Round your answer to 2 significant digits. Is the reaction exothermic or endothermic?

    Endothermic and Exothermic

    Explanation:

An exothermic response discharges heat and endothermic absorbs to heat The whole of the enthalpies of the reactants is more prominent than the product, the response will be exothermic In the product that the items side has a bigger enthalpy, the reaction is endothermic An exothermic method is one that emits heat. This heat is transferred to the environment An endothermic reactions is one in which heat must be provided to the system from the environment
