Molybdenum usually takes the + 6 or + 4 statse, so the normal molybdenum sulfates should be Mo (SO4) 3, molybdenum (VI) sulfate, or Mo (SO4) 2, molybdenum (IV) sulfate. If it took the charge + 2, it would be MoSO4, molybdenum (II) sulfate.
