How does Bohr's atomic model build on Rutherford's model?

    Rutherford explained the nucleus of an atom, while bohr was more into the electrons and their energy levels.

    Bohr improved Rutherford's model by proposing that electrons travelled about the nucleus in orbits that had specific energy levels ... When a metal atom is heated, it absorbs energy and the electrons jump to higher energy levels.
