Using a gas filled balloon as an example describe what happens to the gas molecules that behave according to Charles's law.

    Volume increases linearly with the increase in (absolute) temperature. This is because the heat puts more kinetic energy into the molecules making them move faster. The balloon (assuming it is spherical) will expand in accordance with the rule volume = (4/3) * π r³
