Student left a jar of water outside his home. Water can be a solid, liquid, or gas. When he put the jar

side, the water was liquid. Twelve hours later, the water had changed phase and was a gas. What happened

to the water molecules? Make sure to explain how the molecules were moving before and after the phase

change.

    The molecules when the water was evaporating inside the bottle and the molecules were separating from each other. Before, the water was liquid because it was not hot. After, when it was hot the molecules started separating and formed gas
