    Answer is: copper production have been rising since 1900.

    At beginning of 20th century average production of copper was half million tons per year, in 1940s two million tons per year, in 1960s four million tons per year, in 1980 eight million tons, in 2000 fourteen million tons. Copper is important industrial metals because his iheat and electrical conductivitie. Because Indian and Chinese economies are growing since 2006, price of copper rises.
