    Explanation:

    We use the formula for dilutions:

    C1x V1 = C2xV2

    (before dilution: C1 and V1)

    (after dilution: C2 and V2)

    200ml x 2M = 0,5 M x V2

    V2 = (200ml x 2M) / 0,5M=800ml
