Role of gravity in water cycle

Gravity moves air and ocean water. The gravity force less dense air and water to move upward (cool dry air is denser than warm, humid air and cool, salty water is denser than water downward.

The warm water is moved to the surface by gravity where it is heated up with sunlight and evaporates keeping the water cycle moving.

The gravity also affects the precipitation, when the clouds convey too heavy water droplets, pulling the droplets to fall in form of rain towards the earth.
