A 54-gram sample of an unknown material has a volume equal to 20 cm3. Based on its density, could the sample be aluminum? Explain

    Density is a value for mass, such as kg, divided by a value for volume, such as m3. Density is a physical property of a substance that represents the mass of that substance per unit volume. The density of the material 2.7 g/cm^3 which is equal to the literature value for the density of aluminum.
