The evaporated water cools and drops get closer together.

    Explanation:

The water is always movement into the atmosphere, the soil, and oceans and living creatures. This movement is called the water cycle. The water at the Earth's surface evaporates and goes to the atmosphere at the vapor phase.

At high altitudes, the temperature is low, so the water vapor cools down, and change phase to liquid (condensation). The drops get closer together and form clouds.

As much as the water condenses, the clouds became saturated, and then the water falls as rain. If the temperature is extremely low, it can be changed to ice or snow.
