The reaction is single replacement reaction.

    Chemical equation:

    Al + Cu (NO₃) ₂ → Al (NO₃) ₃ + Cu

    Explanation:

    Chemical equation:

    Al + Cu (NO₃) ₂ → Al (NO₃) ₃ + Cu

    Balanced chemical equation:

    2Al + 3Cu (NO₃) ₂ → 2Al (NO₃) ₃ + 3Cu

The reaction is single replacement reaction. In which Al replace the copper and react with nitrate and form aluminium nitrate.

This is also redox reaction. Aluminium is reducing agent while Cu (NO₃) ₂ is oxidizing agent.

    Single replacement:

It is the reaction in which one elements replace the other element in compound.

    AB + C → AC + B
