How much heat is required to raise the temperature of a solution that is made from adding 25 ml of hno3 to 75 ml of h2o from 12∘c to 18∘c?

    assuming the specific heat is the same as the sp. heat of water,

    total volume = 100 mL ... assume again that the density is ~1.0, mass = 100g

    Q = (100) (4.184) (18-12) << use a calculator
