Atoms of the same element can have different numbers of these, and it will only change the mass of the nucleus, but nothing about the chemical reactivity. neutron, electron or proton

    Neutron. If the number of protons changed, the atom itself would change. If the number of electrons changed, the chemical reactivity would change.
